My preamplifiers are intended for bassists and guitarists wishing to have an extremely precise control of their sound from their instrument.
The built-in Vaudoo Audio preamps take advantage of the onboard power source to provide an improved sound experience and thus provide audio quality worthy of an external preamp. They can also be powered by 1 or 2 9V batteries.
With an adjustable, input gain stage, they adapt to all types of microphones and are available in several customizable versions. They are designed to be transparent when the potentiometers are at zero, to respect the character of your microphones.
Vaudoo Audio preamplifiers are also universal et compatibles and compatible with any type of instrument.

I recommend my Pilsdoo series: preamps without controls, commonly known as ‘boosters’. Designed primarily for guitarists who want a punchy sound that is more resistant to interference, they may also be suitable for some bassists.

Do you prefer something a little more refined, without complexity?
I suggest my Dubbeldoo series: 1 or 2-band preamps that offer precise bass and treble controls. With one of the widest bass adjustment ranges on the market, we can satisfy bassists who can’t get enough (+/-15dB and even +/-19dB if you don’t need the treble controls).

Then the Quadrupeldoo series is for you: a second midrange band, in addition to the Tripeldoo settings, will allow you to “sculpt your sound” to suit any situation.

Choice of medium frequencies
When choosing a 3-band preamp, select the frequency that best suits your playing style and musical style. If several of these frequencies seem relevant to you, we advise you to go for a 4 bands or a 3 bands with frequency selector on the front.
Selectable medium frequency list, on our 3-band preamps : 300Hz, 400Hz, 800Hz or 2.3kHz.

The frequencies recommended by Vaudoo :
– 300 Hz : “ Roundness ”. Act on the lower end of the spectrum, in addition to the bass setting.
To increase to «increase» the sound or decrease if the sound seems a little » muddy « .
– 800 Hz : It is “ The frequency to be shared ”. To increase or decrease depending on the situation: allows to have a lighter bass in the middle of the other instruments … Thus avoiding a common problem : » volume racing « !
Also recommended for Fretless bass.
– 2,0 kHz à 2,5 kHz : Clarity and brilliance of the sound. Where the highs act on the harmonics, these frequencies complete the » percussive » side of the sound. Ideal for playing in slap or pick.
