Easy Integration & perfect adaptation
The Power Block Plug N Play is our simplest battery management system to use and integrate.
Being barely bigger than the 9V battery, it is designed to fit perfectly into the opening of your battery door, without changing the lutherie.
Thanks to a quick connector, it requires no soldering. Simply insert the 2 wires of your battery connector.
It is designed to match perfectly with Vaudoo Audio preamplifiers, but can power any active bass or guitar preamplifier powered by a 9V battery (or 2 batteries with 18V version).
When you install the Power Block Plug N Play, don’t worry about changing your instrument, we designed it to replace a battery.

Unlike the usual lithiums technologies (that of your phone for example) this battery is without risk of external effect : no flame or dangerous heating in case of abuse.
Optimzed life time thanks to LiFePO4 technology 4 time more charging cycles : lifetime is 4 time longer than other usual lithium batteries technologies.
With Vaudoo Audio preamps : enjoy a range of 54 to 185 hours of playing time (measured on our range of onboard preamps).
With the other preamps : autonomy equivalent to half a 9V battery (if you change the battery each year, you will have to recharge at least every 6 months).

The Power Block Plug N Play features intelligent electronics.
Jack detection : the system goes to sleep when the jack is disconnected and wakes up when it is reconnected (more than 3 years of battery life when the system is asleep).
Automatic stop of the charge when the battery is full : you can leave the charger connected between 2 repeats.
Intuitive light return telling you the state of the battery, during jack connections-disconnections or by pressing the button.
Safety stop when the battery level is too low (jack left connected after the rehearsal): your battery is protected and will not experience premature wear.
Well-studied charge management :
- Soft : allows you to further increase the life of your system.
- Fast enough : 10 min of charge allows you to recover 8 to 25 hours of play (calculated according to the consumption of our preamps).
- Total charge : 2 à 3 hours.

The OEM version of the Power Block Plug’N’Play has a wired output instead of a quick connector, thus gaining the few millimeters needed to fit into the narrowest cavities: those fitted to the 9V battery and its PP3 connector.
Concerned instruments are:
- Instruments with a simple access plate, without drawer (observed on Cort and Ibanez basses: see oval-mini plate by clicking here)..
- Instruments with the battery in the electronics cavity, closed by a removable plate (see photos opposite). In this case, recharging is done by opening the plate, into which a diffuser (available as an accessory) is inserted. It lights up, indicating the battery level, when the jack is plugged in or unplugged.
